Characteristica Universalis Journal

Studies about Classical German Philosophy

Aims & Scope

The “Characteristica Universalis” Journal (CUJ) emerges from the idea, that the sense of present philosophy finds it´s source in the central problems of Modernity. Going from this theoretical premise, the journal´s series will contribute to the promotion of interdisciplinary research about philosophies developed between the 17th and 19th century, making a special emphasis on classical german philosophy (from Kant to Hegel). We will also collaborate with the enhancement of university networking and keeping our academic research up-to-date.
